KUALA LUMPUR: Aston Martin Kuala Lumpur has launched the new Aston Martin Vantage, the British firm's fastest model in its 74-year lineage. Now available starting at RM 2,370,000 in Malaysia, the super sleek V8 twin turbo sports car is available exclusive of options and customization. The new Vantage  marks a significant update in the Vantage series, famed for its blend of agility and power, reinforcing Aston Martin's commitment to innovation in the high-performance sports car segment.

The Vantage name, first associated with a high-performance engine variant of the DB2 in 1950, has evolved significantly over the decades. The latest model continues this evolution with substantial enhancements in power, design, and technology, making it the quickest Vantage ever with a 3.4-second sprint to 100 km/h and a top speed of 325 km/h.

This new Vantage is powered by a reengineered 4.0-litre Twin-Turbo V8 engine, producing an impressive 665PS and 800Nm of torque. Upgrades include modified cam profiles, optimized compression ratios, larger turbos, and enhanced cooling systems to manage the increased power output efficiently. The 2024 Vantage also features a new Launch Control system, integrated with an 8-speed ZF automatic transmission, ensuring optimal power delivery and traction.

Structurally, the Vantage benefits from Aston Martin’s latest generation bonded aluminium construction, which enhances chassis rigidity and improves handling dynamics. The front of the vehicle features a stiffer cross member, while the rear benefits from increased lateral strengthening, contributing to a sharper and more responsive driving experience. These improvements are complemented by advanced Bilstein DTX adaptive dampers and an Electronic Rear Differential (E-diff), which work together to offer precise handling and stability under various driving conditions.

Visually, the new Vantage presents a wider stance with a redesigned front end that includes a larger grille for improved airflow and cooling. It rides on AML-specific 21-inch Michelin Pilot S 5 tyres, designed to match the car’s high-performance capabilities.

The new Vantage proudly reintroduces the iconic Aston Martin side strake, now prominently reimagined as the defining feature of the redesigned vents on each side. Enhancements include sleek, frameless door mirrors and elegantly integrated door handles, contributing to the vehicle's streamlined aesthetics. At the rear, a broader bumper with integrated side vents and substantially larger quad exhaust tailpipes underscore the Vantage's compelling presence, ensuring it commands as much attention from behind as it does from the front.

The interior of the Vantage sets new standards in luxury and technology with bespoke architectural elements and modern infotainment system that includes a 10.25-inch touchscreen and connectivity features like an embedded e-SIM and Wireless Apple CarPlay(Android Auto support in the works and coming soon).

The standard audio system in the Aston Martin features a robust 390-watt setup with 11 carefully placed speakers. For those seeking a more immersive auditory experience, an upgrade is available to a premium Bowers & Wilkins sound system. This optional enhancement boasts an impressive 1,170 watts of power distributed across 15 speakers, including a 3D headliner speaker ensemble complemented by a powerful subwoofer, ensuring an enveloping and dynamic sound quality throughout the cabin.

Additional options include various wheel designs and advanced braking systems, such as Carbon Ceramic Brakes, for enhanced performance. Inside, the car features premium materials and customization options through Q by Aston Martin, allowing owners to tailor their Vantage to personal tastes.

Aston Martin offers comprehensive after-sales support with the possibility to extend the initial three-year warranty up to 20 years, providing long-term peace of mind for owners.
