2023 Porsche Cayenne facelift bookings open in Malaysia, price announced

KUALA LUMPUR: Globally revealed at Auto Shanghai 2023 in April this year, the all-new Porsche Cayenne facelift is set to launch in the local market soon. The bookings for the upgraded luxury SUV are now underway in Malaysia with prices starting from RM 599,999. It is offered in a single variant locally built at Kulim, Kedah.

The new Porsche Cayenne comes with slightly updated exterior elements such as a taller and wider front grille, sleeker headlights, and new 3D tail lights. Now available as standard are Matrix LED headlights and 20-inch ‘Cayenne Design’ wheels. However, you can also opt for bigger 21-inch ‘Cayenne Exclusive Design’ or 22-inch ‘Sport Design’ wheels by paying an additional cost.

Porsche Malaysia offers the new Cayenne in three metallic hues - Carrara White, Chromite Black, and Quarzite Grey.

Inside, you get the restyled dashboard with a 12.6-inch instrument panel and a 12.3-inch infotainment unit, offering a “new Porsche Driver Experience.” Also part of the kit are a Power Steering Plus system, soft-close doors, 15W wireless charging tray, 14-way electric comfort seats, and a Bose Surround Sound System. The safety pack comprises an adaptive Cruise Control system, Front and Rear Park Assist sensors, Lane Keeping Assist, and a 360-degree surround-view monitor.

The new Porsche Cayenne is powered by a familiar 3.0-litre turbocharged V6 engine generating a maximum power of 353 hp and a peak torque of 500 Nm. Sending power to the four wheels is a Tiptronic S eight-speed automatic gearbox hooked with an active all-wheel drive system. The suspension is handled by an upgraded Porsche Active Suspension Management offering better handling capabilities.
