2023 Nissan Z to debut in Rocket League on May 26
KUALA LUMPUR: Nissan along with Psyonix (a San Diego-based video game developer) has announced the launch of the Nissan Z Performance Bundle. It will be available in Rocket League on all platforms from May 26 to June 7.
The Nissan Z Performance car is true to the all-new Nissan Z Performance trim and is equipped with engine audio, wheels, player banner, and Nissan x FaZe Clan Decal.
As for the all-new 2023 Nissan Z, the automaker’s signature car is scheduled to arrive at the global market in the coming months.
Nissan will also be sponsoring several Rocket League Esports events like the upcoming Rocket League Championship Series dubbed ‘the Nissan Classic’ from May 27-29. Further the automaker is also the sponsor for the Collegiate Rocket League World Championship and the upcoming Fall 2022 CRL Season.
Allyson Witherspoon, vice president and CMO, Nissan U.S said, “We’re excited for the passionate fans of Rocket League to experience the thrill of the all-new Nissan Z,” He added, “This is also a great moment to highlight our existing collaboration with FaZe Clan as we continue to look for new and authentic ways to be present in the ever-expanding Esports world.”
The arrival of the Nissan Z in Rocket League will be celebrated via a Nissan Crew Barrels livestream on May 26, starting at 10 A.M. PDT.
The Nissan Z Performance Bundle can be picked from the item shop for just 1100 credit, thus making it way cheaper than the real-life $40,000 (RM 175K) model.
This will be the closest we’ll come to driving the new Nissan rear-drive coupe, as it will not be coming here. So, what do you think of this chance? Let us know in the comments.
