2022 Rolls-Royce Black Badge Ghost in Malaysia; limited to just 1 unit

KUALA LUMPUR: Rolls-Royce Malaysia has added a new shining gem in its lineup, the all-new 2022 Black Badge Ghost.

Surely an edgier interpretation of the conventional Rolls-Royce saloon, it showcases subtle yet powerful visuals. No more bright chrome finish can be seen on the car, as both the grille and the Spirit of Ecstasy ornament now feature a smoked bronze finish.

As with other Rolls-Royce cars, the customers can order their Black Badge Ghost in any colour option of choice, however, black seems to be ruling the charts. Also, black for RR means black, as the paint job alone weighs 45 kg!

Coming to the new RR’s power configuration, powering the Black Badge Ghost is a 6.75-litre twin-turbo V12 mill that pumps out a maximum power output of 592 bhp along with a peak torque of 900 Nm. The gear selection unit comes with a ‘Low’ button that acts as the Sport mode, it increases the gear shift speed by 50 percent.

What else? The 2022 RR Black Badge Ghost rides on 21-inch composite wheels that are made up of 44 layers of carbon fibre. The saloon also features aerospace-grade titanium fasteners and floating hubcaps with the Double R monogram always in upright position.

 

On the inside what steals the eye is the Shooting Star Headliner and the illuminated passenger-side dashboard, thanks to the 850 twinkly LEDs. The refined black leather headrest showcases the intricately embroidered iconic Rolls-Royce monogram.

Not to forget the Black Badge icon, the infinity symbol that’s inlaid by hand between the rear seats and reminds us of the infinite possibilities that darkness provides.

Also part of the kit is a Bespoke Audio system that delivers studio quality sound and a Champagne cooler. All this along with the most enticing setting space imaginable.

Price? Well, before tax and optional features, the 2022 Rolls-Royce Black Badge Ghost checks in at RM 1.8 million. Limited to just one unit in Malaysia, the car is available for preview via authorised RR dealerships.
