What do we know about the all-new Creta facelift?

The 2022 Creta will be assessed at the newly established Cikarang plant in Indonesia. As can be seen above the SUV gets a new front fascia that resembles a lot with the 4th-gen Tucson. The parametric grille looks appealing with its heavy brightwork and the LED DRLs on the edge makes the whole package even more imposing.

The rear profile of the car benefits from a revised tailgate with Creta script and new sheet metal. The LED combination tail light is slightly revised as well and so are the lower bumper inserts.

The cabin images showcase an identical setup as the previous-gen model. The setup includes several comfort and convenience features like -

    • A 10.25-inch fully digital instrument cluster
    • An 8-inch infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple
    • CarPlay support
    • Wireless charging tray for Qi-compatible devices
    • Electric parking brake
    • Single-zone automatic climate control with integrated air purification system

Wait, the list doesn't end here as according to a few reports the range-topping Creta variant will get a full-size panoramic sunroof, ventilated seats, Bose premium sound system, and full-suite Hyundai SmartSense driver assistance features. The latter includes -

    • Rear Cross-Traffic Assist
    • Rear-View Monitor
    • Forward Collision Warning
    • Blind Spot Collision Assist
    • Lane Keeping Assist

    Power details

The 2022 Creta is powered by a naturally-aspirated 1.5-litre four-cylinder engine making a maximum power of 115 PS along with a peak torque of 144 Nm. The drive is sent to the front wheels via Hyundai's intelligent Variable Transmission. Worry not, as the automaker is also offering the SUV with a 6-speed manual option.

    Other details

The all-new Creta is expected to be offered in three trim options in Indonesia namely, Prime, Style, and Active. Also, we can say for sure the SUV will be offered in an exclusive two-tone red hue.

More details are expected to be revealed soon, so stay tuned to Zigwheels Malaysia.
