    2022 Ford Everest: Impressive features

800 mm water wading: The new Everest SUV can go anywhere that’s not something to just say. All thanks to its 800 mm water-wading capability across the lineup which makes it prepared for the rainy season.

Selectable Drive Modes: Adding to the Everest’s go-anywhere attitude are its six on- and off-road selectable drive modes including - Normal for everyday use, Eco for max fuel economy, Slippery for reducing wheel spin & slip on slippery surfaces, Tow/Haul for carrying a heavy load, Sand for maintaining momentum & minimize braking distance, and Mud/Ruts for max grip and vehicle momentum. Thus making it good smooth roads and mud-covered paths evenly.

Off-road screen: The massive touchscreen infotainment system gets turned into an off-road command hub at just a push of a button. What does it offer? The user will get a dedicated off-road screen that offers crucial vehicle information like off-road status and pitch & roll

Electronic Parking Brake: Ford has bid adieu to the traditional parking brake and gets an electronic version for the Everest instead. Reduced to just a switch, it gives the driver the ability to go easy on the brakes and creates more room in the cabin.

Recognisable Lighting: One can instantly recognise Everest thanks to its unique lighting units, front and back. At the front, it gets Ford’s signature design DNA reflecting C-Clamp headlamps. The rear unit is no less with its full-width design which emphasizes the SUV’s increased track.

Hands-Free Power Tailgate: This feature is seen on high-end cars pretty easily and now Ford brings it to the Everest (starting mid-spec variant). Here one can access the SUV’s boot easily even with their hands full. All the user needs to do is simply kick his/her foot under the rear bumper and the boot will open and close automatically.

SYNC 4A with Large Center Display: The Everest SUV benefits from SYNC 4A, a cloud-connected in-vehicle communication and entertainment system. It offers a host of features and shows the user's last five actions. The system can be navigated via wireless smartphone integration and a 10.1 - or 12-inch touchscreen.

Digital Owner’s Manual: This might not seem useful to many but often owners require manuals to understand the car and its functionality better. Gone is the conventional paper manual and in comes a digital version that holds info on the vehicle’s features and a lot more. All this can be reached via the SYNC 4A touchscreen.

360-degree Camera: The SUV also comes fitted with a 360-degree camera, the multiple views of the terrain can be viewed on the screen. It includes a bird’s eye 360-degree top-down view, 180-degree front view, front off-road view, and rear split view.

Customisable Information Cluster: The new Everest benefits from a smart information cluster that can be customized well.

Connectivity at its Best: In addition to Apple CarPlay and Android Auto support, the new Everest will assure the user's devices are always fully charged. It is possible via the car’s wireless charging pad and front & rear USB ports. The third row and luggage area get a 12V socket. Not to forget the 400W inverter in the rear centre console.

Active Park Assist 2.0: The range-topping Everest variant, Titanium is equipped with Active Park Assist 2.0 which largely reduces the driver’s stress of parking by offering steering, shifting, braking, and acceleration assistance that helps navigate parallel and perpendicular parking spaces.

Lane-Keeping System with Road Edge Detection: Being a large seven-seater, Everest is deemed to be taken on long journeys. During this time the Lane-Keeping System with Road Edge Detection function comes in handy as it offers gentle steering support helping prevent the car from drifting off the road.

Blind Spot Information System: Everest takes the BLIS to a whole new level as it alerts the driver about any vehicle detected in the car’s blind spot.

Evasive Steer Assist: This particular system offers steering support to the Everest helping avoid collision in case the distance between the cars is too short to break in time.

Reverse Brake Assist: This particular system detects objects/pedestrians behind the car and even a vehicle that’s about to cross at the rear. It will not only alert the driver of the same but also apply brakes in case the driver doesn't react.
