2021 Hyundai i20 official pictures leaked

KUALA LUMPUR: While Hyundai looked all set to reveal the next-gen i20 next month at the 2020 Geneva Motor Show, someone from inside has ruined the plans. The official images of the new Hyundai i20 have been leaked and we get a complete picture of how it will be particularly from the outside. 

The images reveal a lot about the new i20. The shown images are probably of the top-of-the-line model. We inferred that by seeing the dual-tone exterior finish - while the body is blue, its other elements like the roof, side mirrors and pillars are all finished in black. At the rear, the windscreen is enclosed inside a black periphery and the taillights are connected to a full-width LED strip. Moreover, there is a black integrated spoiler and wrap-around taillights that are extended a little further on to the sides.

The front end is accentuated with headlamps that get inverted-tick DRLs, a wide front grille that extends to the lower end of the bumper and edgier fog lamps housing. There is a chrome strip running all the way from the bottom of A-pillar to the rear and finally making a kink at the end. The wheels get a striking design too, like the ones shown in the previously released teaser. The overall design of the car is sharper than before. 

Since we have only exterior leaked images to show, the inside details are not very evident that surfaced online in the recent past. According to them, the inside of the car will have a fully digital instrument cluster and a touchscreen infotainment system. There will also be a new counterclockwise rev counter, physical climate controls, and a revised steering wheel.
