2021 Toyota Harrier launched in Malaysia, here’s everything you need to know
Just a couple of days after teasing the all-new Harrier for the first time, UMW Toyota launched the updated premium SUV in Malaysia today. Initially introduced back in 2018 here, the first update came in the form of the next-generation SUV hosting a glut of modifications in terms of design as well as technology. Also, the fourth-gen Harrier is based on Toyota New Generation Architecture that also supports the brand’s other latest models such as the RAV4 and Camry.
One of the significant things to be noted here is that the new Harrier is available only in a sole variant, unlike the previous model that was on offer in two trims - Premium and Luxury. Toyota has dropped the Premium guise for 2021 and left the customers with a single option, i.e., the 2021 Toyota Harrier Luxury, which is priced at RM 249,706. This is an on-the-road price excluding insurance but including a 50% sales and services tax exemption, which is valid until June 30, 2021, and after which the price will increase up to RM 259,000. Also, included in the price is a five-year unlimited-mileage warranty.
Other than price, what’s all new in the 2021 Toyota Harrier? Let’s find out.
