2019 Bisimoto VelosterRaptor N revealed

KUALA LUMPUR: Hyundai has teamed up with the Bisimoto Engineering to build the Bisimoto VelosterRaptor N Concept. It will be showcased at the upcoming 2019 SEMA show, which is scheduled to be organized between November 5th and November 8th. The car is based on the Veloster N Performance Package, and it is likely to be a consumer-friendly model that has bolt-on performance upgrades.

The car comes with a custom-made rear spoiler to increase the downforce and headlights are modified to include Flyryde components. Furthermore, there are carbon-fibre parts of Dreamworks. Getting inside the car, there are lightweight front seats from Momo and an interactive OBD cluster having a unique design is placed on the centre console.

On the mechanical department, there is a VelosterRaptor’s factory petrol engine with some modifications such as the latest exhaust and induction technology. These include the use of the sport exhaust systems, speciality lubricants, efficient intake design, OBD monitoring, aerodynamic upgrades and performance feedback electronics. Furthermore, to enhance the volumetric efficiency, the pulse-wave technology is used in the intake and exhaust modules. Also, the inertial supercharging will be improved at the time of the valvetrain overlap periods.

The manufacturer has not spoken anything about the power figure. However, it is informed that the VelosterRaptor N is made to be a “Civic Type R Killer,” so it can be expected that the power figure will be increased to 320 hp. While the base model, Veloster N Performance Package can make a maximum power of 275 hp along with a peak torque of 353 Nm. So, it is clear that the car will get a huge power bump due to the modifications.

2019 Bisimoto VelosterRaptor N has some other hardware upgrades as well including a new Action Clutch, Tarox beefier brakes, lowered Eibach sports suspension, Fifteen52 shod multispoke wheels wrapped by high-adhesion Toyo tyres, and a turbocharger supplied by Turbonetics.
