2016 Renault Megane spied in new body
Kuala Lumpur: Some European photographers managed to click few spy shots of the upcoming Renault Megane while it was on a test run. Though the new Megane was shrouded with an ample of camouflage but a sleeker design can be made out of it which seems to be inspired by the current Clio supermini and Captur crossover. Currently in its fourth-generation, this prototype feature a more mature and premium look.
Talking about the exterior, this car has got a broad front face along with curved front ends and swept-back headlamps. Above the revised grille, one can notice a huge Renault badge which is very prominent. The rising waistline of this car gives way to a slimmer rear window along with a composed and balanced side profile. At the back, one can find a neatly curved tailgate panel, a rear bumper and a roof mounted lip spoiler.

Interior was one of the main criticisms for the previous models, so one can expect the new Megane to get higher quality interior with upgraded materials and a more attractive design. It is also being speculated that the main console would be complemented by a central touchscreen infotainment system which can also be seen in Renault's other models.
Though nothing much has been revealed about the engine specifications, but one can expect it to be powered by an advanced 1.8-litre turbocharged engine that is being jointly developed with Nissan. It is expected to be unveiled at the 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show, so till then we would have to go by the rumours only.
