20 new Audi cars to arrive in the next two years
KUALA LUMPUR: During its recently held annual conference, the German auto giant Audi spilled some beans on its upcoming models. The company has planned to launch around 20 new models by 2025, half of which would be pure electric vehicles. With that said, the company’s CEO Markus Duesmann vouched that we are “on the verge of the biggest product initiative in our history”.

This electric SUV will be the first Audi model to underpin the PPE platform. Also, it will be the first EV to be produced at the brand’s Ingolstadt facility.
Another model would be an EV sized lower than the Q4 e-Tron. As per the reports, this will be called the A3 e-tron and based on the SSP architecture.
Audi has also provided us with a preview of its other electric cars in the form of sphere concept vehicles, including the Grandsphere, Urbansphere, Skysphere, and Activesphere. These innovative concepts offer a glimpse of the brand’s commitment to sustainable technology and its vision for the future of electric mobility.
While commenting on the company’s performance in the EV category, Duesmann said, “Sales of all-electric models increased by 44% year on year [in 2022>. The high demand for our Audi Q4 E-tron, Audi E-tron GT and Audi E-tron models confirms that we're on the right track toward e-mobility.”

Audi is set to expand its local lineup with the launch of several fully electric e-tron models, including the Q8 e-tron, Q8 Sportback e-tron, e-tron GT, and RS e-tron GT. The bookings of these Audi EVs are currently underway.
