112-unit limited Lamborghini Countach completely sold out

KUALA LUMPUR: Yes, it is the same Lamborghini Countach that was showcased at the Monterey Car Week 2021, California. The beast is limited to just 112-units with each costing €2m (tax excluded). And now TopGear.com informs us that the car is fully sold out!

Well, the Countach is a superb car with a striking exterior and equally appealing interior, but getting sold out completely that too so soon is a bit surprising.

Lamborghini’s design boss Mitja Borkert said, “The first Countach has been present in our Centro Stile as a model for some years now. Whenever I look at it, it gives me goose bumps and it serves as the perfect reminder for me and the entire design team to design every future Lamborghini in a visionary and futuristic way.”

Let's see what all the Lamborghini Countach had in stock. Well from the outside the car looks awe-striking with its sharp body contour and edgy cuts. The exterior paint job commemorates Boss Ferrucci's Countach LP 400 S back in the day.

Open the gates and take in the superb cabin look and feel that closely resembles the Sian's interior. It showcases red/black leather upholstery, jet-fighter inspired starter button, 8.4-inch touchscreen display, and 'Stile' button. The latter once pressed explains the car's design philosophy to its privileged audience.

What powers the Lamborghini Countach?

The Countach sources its power from a 6.5-litre naturally-aspirated V12 engine generating maximum power of 770 bhp. Also present is a 48V electric motor that makes an additional 34 bhp. The power is sent to the wheels via a 7-speed 'ISR' gearbox.

On the performance front, the Countach completes the century sprint in just 2.8 seconds and 0-200 kmph in 8.6 seconds. The car can attain a top speed of 355 kmph.

What else? It weighs 1,595 kg, has a 43/57 front/rear weight distribution, and an electronically-controlled rear spoiler with three positions.
