The double-cab Landtrek is 5,330 mm long, 1,920 mm wide, and 1,819 mm long. The wheelbase and ground clearance of the truck are measured at 3,180 mm and 235 mm, respectively. Compared to the segment-leading Hilux, the Peugeot truck is 5 mm longer and 65 wider and also has a 95 mm longer wheelbase. However, when it comes to ground clearance, the Toyota model remains ahead with 286 mm.
The Peugeot Landtrek is claimed to offer the most spacious cargo bed on the market with exact dimensions as 1630 mm length, 1600 mm width, and 500 mm depth. The Hilux deck, on the other hand, measures 1,525 mm x 1,540 mm x 480 mm.

However, the local market will see the arrival of the former only, which churns out a maximum power of 152 PS at 4,000 rpm and a peak torque of 350 Nm from 1,800 to 2,800 rpm. The transmission duties will be handled by a six-speed automatic gearbox mated to a part-time four-wheel drive system, which also features a rear differential lock.

As for safety, the pickup will be equipped with six airbags, an electronic stability program, an anti-lock braking system, electronic brake-force distribution, emergency brake assist, hill descent control, trailer sway control, anti-skid regulation, tyre deflation detection, 360-degree parking camera, and two rear Isofix points. The driver will also be assisted by the systems like Lane Departure Warning and Lane Keeping Control via an audible and visual alert.
