2010 SLS AMG
This “Gullwing” version of the SLS AMG designed by Mercedes-Benz is unmistakably a gesture of appreciation to the 1954 300 SL. The model gave us a completely new automotive icon. Also, it has received a number of design awards, including the 2010 red dot "best of the best" award, the iF product design award 2010 for the "Transportation Design" category, and the AUTO BILD Design Award 2010 as "Europe's most attractive car".

1979 Gelandewagen
This box-like shaped Mercedes-Benz vehicle, commonly known as G-Class was specially developed as a military vehicle. The off-road legend is one of the longest produced Mercedes-Benz in Daimler's history, with a span of 35 years.
1979 300 D
The dignified design of the 300 D is the first diesel-powered Mercedes-Benz vehicle sold in the US market (in the passenger car segment). Its unique four-headlight face for that time became an styling signature in the automotive industry.
1972 S-Class
The first-generation to carry the S-Class name, the W116 series featured sophisticated styling and safety related design features, including ribbed tailamps that helped in repelling of dirt and mud.

The Ponton 180 is a direct ancestor of today's E-Class. It is Mercedes-Benz's first advanced three-box design with self-supporting body structure and fully integrated wings.

1909 Blitzen Benz
Because of Blitzen Benz's narrow, aerodynamic body with tapered tail, it is moniker as 1909 “Lightning Benz”. Also, it is interesting to know that it is the first car on planet Earth to break the 200 kmph barrier.
