Masuk akhir tahun ketiga penjualan, Yamaha NMax masih terus jadi salah satu model terpopuler yang disajikan pabrikan lambang garputala. NMax 2018 masih menuai penjualan yang memuaskan untuk Yamaha. April 2018 lalu, mereka mencetak 40.000 unit sebulan. Angka ini bahkan menggeser Yamaha Mio ke tempat kedua.
Versi terbaru dari NMax, perubahannya secara desain tidak terlalu signifikan, namun pada sektor suspensi kini tersedia suspensi dengan tabung sekunder. Kami sempat mencoba motor ini di sirkuit gokart Sentul (Sentul kecil) sebanyak tiga putaran. Untuk pengujian maksimal tentunya itu tidak cukup, namun secara sepintas, kami bisa pastikan suspensi NMax kini lebih baik dari sebelumnya.
Motor kini terasa lebih menurut ketika diajak bermanuver, dan ini sangat menguntungkan untuk pengendaraan yang menuntut kelincahan. Perubahan lainnya ada pada instrument cluster berubah warna, plus jok terlihat lebih mewah. Dari sisi mesin, tidak ada yang berubah tetap 155 cc, dengan konfigurasi satu silinder, dengan teknologi pengaturan katup VVA.
