The RC 250 is a fully faired sports bike from KTM that is designed to keep the performance in mind. This bike features an aggressive front end that features twin projector headlamps, DRLs, and a windshield. Powering this bike is a 248.8cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled, 4-stroke DOHC engine that generates 30.8 hp of power and 24 Nm of torque. This quarter-liter engine comes mated to a 6-speed transmission. Suspension setup consists of 125mm WP USD front forks and 150mm WP Monoshock on the rear end. Stopping power comes from disc brakes on both ends. The KTM RC 250 is priced at RM 21,500 in the market.

The Austrian two-wheeler manufacturer KTM is immensely popular worldwide as one of the most popular sports bike manufacturers. Over the past few years, KTM has made some of its best models available to the Malaysian market. The KTM RC 250 is one of those renowned models. Released in 2017, the RC 250 model closely resembles the racing bikes of Moto GP with the same type of high performance and lightweight body.
The KTM RC 250 comes with a host of upgrades for the riders. These upgrades are done to the frame of this bike and its ergonomics to ensure better riding, stability, and comfort. KTM RC 250 Design
The design of this bike resembles that of Moto 3 vehicles that are used in Moto GP. It makes the design of this bike aerodynamic. The aggressive front of the bike features twin headlights and a windscreen. Overall, it makes the RC-250 replicate a full-fledged sports racing bike.
The overall body of the bike is made out of a powder-coated steel trellis frame that features a sharp design and is exceptionally lightweight. It helps improve the ergonomics of the bike for both the performance and the riding experience.

RC 250 Ride & Handling
Ride and handling on the RC-250 is maintained with the help of its robust suspension system. The front-wheel features an upside-down fork suspension from WP, and the rear wheel is supported by a swing arm mono-shock suspension system also from WP. The suspension system, along with the lightweight chassis, gives excellent handling capabilities to the rider of the RC 250.
The angled rake of this bike provides a very good riding posture best for racing. The footpegs and handlebars are placed according to the seat inclination to ensure the rider has easy access to all the ride controls on the handlebar. It also features two-stepped seats and side wings that help in making the ride more comfortable.
KTM RC 250 Engine & Fuel Consumption
The KTM RC-250 features a 248.8cc four-stroke single-cylinder DOHC engine that is able to push out a torque of 24 Nm at 7250 RPM. The powerful engine of the RC-25 is liquid-cooled and has a fuel injection system matched with a six-speed transmission gearbox and slipper clutch system.
This lightweight 147kg bike with the 248.8cc engine can push out a top speed of over 150kmph. The bike also features 10 litres fuel tank with an average fuel efficiency of roundabout 30 km/litre.
RC 250 Braking & Safety
The braking and safety features of this bike are not the best, but they are sure to help you in times of an emergency. The front and rear wheel both feature disc brakes. The front wheel has a single-piston radially mounted calipers, and the rear wheel has a single-piston floating calipers disc braking system. This bike, however, does not have an ABS system which is one of the most important braking and safety features of modern bikes. Some of the other safety features of this bike include a pass light, engine check indicator, and sport riding modes.
