They are produced in limited numbers and are mostly meant for collectors. The KTM 1290 Super Duke R Special Edition has a superbly powerful and torquey engine. Honestly, you’ll never need a 1.30-litre engine unless of course, you’re planning long trips regularly. Obviously, you won’t be able to realize the motor’s power in the urban jungle. But it only if you have enough time to ply the KTM 1290 Super Duke R Special Edition.
