Ducati SuperSport Design
The Supersport seems to be an upgraded version of Panigale V4 models, as seen from the extended lower fairing to the front silencer. It hides all the mechanical components while adding a style flair and a powerful body to the chassis. Another new upgrade in the model that has left all bike lovers in complete awe is the low-height windshield. It complements the dynamic chassis of the bike, especially since it is connected to the central tank. As a result, the body color is further extended to the cockpit for a unified look.
Furthermore, it is equipped with Plexiglass, whose height can be adjusted further to enhance the aerodynamic performance. The bike is now available in two colors, allowing riders to choose from the Arctic white silk or Ducati red. Either way, the bike looks marvelous and epitomizes style and charisma. The bike features an approximate seat height of 810 mm, the bike offers an ergonomic riding experience.
SuperSport Ride & Handling
Ducati has gone all out with the suspension system in its Supersport model to ensure riders can have a wonderful experience, regardless of the surface conditions. At the front, the bike is reinforced with an Ohlins USD fork featuring TiN treatment. This new suspension is well-known for absorbing all the vibrations, thereby dampening the shocks and bounciness to a great extent.
Furthermore, it allows preload adjustment during spring compression, which is one of the many reasons for not feeling the wobbliness once the bike attains maximum speed. The rear end, however, is equipped with a mono-shock absorber that doesn't let the vibrations traverse the body and cause disturbances during the ride.
Ducati SuperSport Engine & Fuel Consumption
Ducati has leveraged modern-day technology to accelerate overall performance and deliverability, regardless of the speed attained or the road conditions. It has a desmodromic, liquid-cooled engine with an L-Twin cylinder and four valves. The modern-age liquid cooling system can wick away heat quickly, protecting the mechanical components from frictional damage and corrosion.
The brand new Akrapovic titanium systems add more value to the overall performance of Supersport. This exhaust system's carbon fiber shield ensures no thermal damage and reduced weight. Thanks to this unique combination, Supersport can deliver a maximum power of 110 hp and torque of 93 Nm without any hiccups. As a result, the bike is the epitome of strength and power that cannot be denied by any means.
With a 16 L fuel tank, the bike provides a hassle-free ride, ensuring riders can go on long drives or race on a huge track without refilling the fuel. While the transmission system is manual, riders cannot deny the excellent gear system operation with a 6-speed configuration.
SuperSport Braking & Safety
Supersport is designed to fulfill the modern-day needs of any sports or racing bike. As a result, it is expected that Ducati has integrated a dual disc brake at the front end, thereby offering excellent braking power. It reduces the overall weight and ensures the brakes are engaged instantaneously. Therefore, the bike won't move an inch once the rider presses the brake pedal. On the contrary, the rear end comes with a single disc brake, providing maximum control to the front part.
Thanks to the Bosch 9.1 MP ABS, the wheels won't get locked. It also prevents the rear end from tilting when brakes are applied suddenly. The advanced DTC EVO traction control imparts maximum control over the bike's movement and reduces fatigue by a considerable section.
Ducati SuperSport Verdict
The Ducati Supersport is not just a sports bike that can be driven long without compromising its performance deliverability or fuel economy. Instead, it houses advanced tech with a stylish frame that gives riders an incredible riding experience at different speeds.
