The R 1250 GS 40 Years GS Edition is available at RM 130,500 in the Malaysian market. Powering this motorcycle is a 1254cc air & liquid-cooled two-cylinder BMW ShiftCam boxer engine that makes 136hp of power at 7750 rpm and 143 Nm of torque at 6250 rpm. Power goes to the ground via a six-speed gearbox equipped with an assist and slipper clutch. Special features on this model include golden handlebars, sporty yellow windscreen, “40 Years GS” sticker at the front, and yellow handguards to name a few. Other features include full LED lighting, multiple riding modes, hill start control, automatic stability control etc.
