The 1.4-litre TSI younger sibling delivers a maximum potential of 160 PS at 5800 rpm and delivers a peak torque of 240 Nm between the range of 1500-4500 rpm. In return, it reaches the 100 kmph acceleration in 8.0 seconds, slightly late than its sibling while clocking a top speed of 218 kmph. The engines are not only efficient in terms of power but also in fuel consumption. The 2.0-litre engine shows a fuel economy of 12.5 kmpl which is pretty decent for a sports coupe. The 2.0-litre engine is mated with a 6-speed direct shift gearbox DSG while the 1.4-litre engine is coupled with a 7-speed direct shift gearbox DSG.
