The Hilux Single Cab 2.4 (MT) 4x4 is the cheapest model in the Toyota pickup lineup. This particular model is priced at RM 90,000 and offers a seating capacity of two - driver and co-passenger. It is powered by a 2,393cc 4-cylinder diesel mill that develops a maximum power of 150 PS at 3400 rpm along with a peak torque of 400 Nm at 1600-2000 rpm. Sending power to its 16-inch alloy wheels is a 6-speed manual transmission.

Hilux dimensions spec read the same across the range, the wheelbase, however, is a bit compromised at 269 mm. Its feature list includes automatic halogen headlamps with follow-me-home function, daytime running lights, rear fog lamps, and optional bed liner. Unlike the exterior, the interior misses out on a lot of features like cruise control, USB ports, steering mounted switches, drive mode, and much more. Safety specs include - ABS with EBD, SRS airbags (3), and seatbelts.
