Sluggish engine, impressive build quality
The Proton X70 has shown lots of improvement in terms of its build quality in comparison to the other models from the brand. As I step into the cabin, I’m impressed by the craftsmanship and solidity of the materials. The exterior panels seamlessly fit together, and I can see a noticeable reduction in squeaks or rattles that were associated with older vehicles manufactured by this brand. Its build quality is quite good contributing to a refined driving experience and instilling confidence in the durability of the vehicle over time. However, the engine is a bit sluggish.
