Following a testing stint that involved a week including a weekend road trip and back and daily work commutes, I can say that the Proton X50 held up quite well. Its good looks are matched well with its excellent drive dynamics. In its range, it has the peppiest powertrain. The ride quality in general is very supple and soft. For most parts, it feels planted whilst its very light yet accurate steering module enhances its drivability. Also, the presence of multiple steering and drive modes suit all occasions making it a bit more versatile and easy to drive than pricier rivals.
