A large wheelbase makes provisions for a decent legroom and cabin space but the boot space provided is disappointing. The R8 can easily fit 100 litres of luggage under the bonnet and another 90 litres behind the seats. The space however, isn't outstanding but then this is not your everyday pick and drop car. Some compromise on the space is worth every thundering sound that the sweet V10 engine produces.

The car has been embedded with an advanced system known as MMI Navigation system which consists of a 6.5 inch crystal clear TFT touchscreen and provides an interface for audio and navigation controls. The useful information available online like Google maps, Google Earth, worldwide news and so on can be directly transmitted to the car through the UMTS module in the online bluetooth of the car. Besides that, the system also provides access to internet via Wifi. Audio streaming via Bluetooth is possible.

Wheels:

The car has been embedded with 10 spoke Y-design wheels. The dimensions of front tyres are 235/35 R19 while that for the rear tyres are 295/30 R19. The stylish alloy wheels adds to the overall aesthetics of the R8 and also provides sturdiness to the exterior of this sports car.

Braking and Handling:

The mid mounted engine contributes to a lower centre of gravity which gives an exceptional handling and a superb road behavior. The car has been embedded with V10 plus sports suspension with stiffer spring and damper coalition which further enhances the handling. The car has also used a technology called Audi parking system which which acoustically alarms the driver about how far is the object behind through the ultrasonic sensors fitted behind. Alongwith that, this feature also enables the driver to find an ideal parking space. The tyre pressure monitoring system alarms the rider if the tyres are inflated below the required standard level.
