Yamaha Malaysia launches the all-new TMax Tech Max 560; check details

KUALA LUMPUR: In addition to giving its best-seller NVX 155 four new colours, Yamaha Malaysia officially launched the all-new TMax Tech Max 560 in the local market.

Hong Leong Yamaha Motors initially introduced the first batch of the new TMax Tech Max 560 consisting of 35 units, all of which are sold out. Before the next batch arrives, let us get to know the latest Yamaha in detail.

2022 Yamaha TMax Tech Max: Key details

• Powering the new 2022 TMax is a 562cc, two-cylinder engine generating a max power of 48 PS at 7,500 rpm along with a peak torque of 55.7 Nm at 5,250 rpm

• Thanks to the brand’s Chip Controlled Throttle system, the scooter offers smooth and controlled power delivery
• The new Yamaha benefits from connectivity features like an all-new 7-inch full-colour TFT display with smartphone connectivity & Garmin maps connectivity

• Sportier style, compact body with updated new lighter Spin Forged 10-spoke wheels that help reduce inertia by 10% and 6%, front & rear respectively. Wrapped around the tyre are Bridgestone Battlax SC2 tyres
• On the braking front, it gets hydraulic dual disc brakes at both ends
• Suspension is taken care of by telescopic forks at the front and swingarm at the rear
• The new scooter showcases a new radical Supersport-inspired design which includes a new aluminium frame and sportier riding ergonomics

• Part of the new TMax feature kit is a revamped adjustable screen with central air vents, reshaped front fascia, slimmer waist, and dual LED headlights
• A large 15.0L fuel tank good enough to store essentials for the daily journey
• Heated grips seat adds to the rider’s comfort
• Yamaha ‘Smart Key’ keyless system allows the riders to start the engine, unlock seats and perform other tasks
• The cruise control system adds comfort and enjoyment to long-distance rides

The new TMax Tech Max is offered as a complete knockdown unit, manufactured at the HLYM facility in Sungai Buloh.
