Yamaha Malaysia introduces three new colour options for Ego Avantiz

KUALA LUMPUR: The next Yamaha model to get the colour upgrade in Malaysia is the Ego Avantiz. The popular utility scooter is now offered in three new colours - Sky Blue, Dark Blue, and Purple, replacing Grey, Cyan, and Red shades. 

With the colour upgrade, there has not been any change in the pricing, which means Hong Leong Yamaha Motor continues to retail the Ego Avantiz at RM 5,998 (excluding road tax, registration, and insurance). The price includes a 2-year or 20,000 km manufacturing warranty.

Just like the price, the Yamaha Ego Avantiz specs sheet remains the same as earlier. It features a 125-cc BlueCore air-cooled single-cylinder engine generating a maximum power of 9.4 hp at 8,000 rpm and a peak torque of 9.6 Nm at 5,500 rpm. The power is sent to the rear wheel via an automatic transmission mated to a V-delt and a wet multi-plate clutch system.

• 773 mm seat height

The suspension setup comprises a telescopic fork suspension at the front and a monoshock single absorber at the rear. As for braking, the scooter comes loaded with a single hydraulic disc brake at the front and a drum brake at the rear.

The 2024 Yamaha Ego Avantiz, painted in new hues, is now available at all Hong Leong Yamaha-authorised dealerships nationwide.
