WMoto Xtreme 150i receives 5-star recognition

KUALA LUMPUR: Wmoto has launched the all-new Xtreme 150i in the local market, thus it enters a very competitive space.

The National Recovery Plan has been implemented by the government, however, in addition, Mforce too is taking aggressive steps to uplift the motorcycle market and also give potential consumers options once the two-wheeler sale is allowed.

One of the key highlights of the Xtreme 150i is its 5-star recognition via the Motorcycle Assessment Program in Malaysia. As per the Malaysian Institute of Road Safety Research (MIROS), the said rating is given after evaluating several key features like -

  • Compliance with United Nations Economic Commission for Europe
  • Safety features
  • Technology and support programs
  • Conformity of production (COP)

In addition, the Wmoto Xtreme 150i has also been recognised as the safest motorcycle as it comes equipped with Anti-Lock Braking System and an efficient braking system.

The Xtreme 150i is powered by a single-cylinder, 4-stroke 149.3 cc mill with SOHC and a liquid cooling system. The said unit makes a maximum power of 12.1 hp at 8,500 rpm along with a peak torque of 11.8 Nm at 5,000 rpm.

The Xtreme 150i is built in line with the EXTREME concept and thus features high durability and a rugged design. It also gets LED type lighting all around. Also, the headlights get spanner-shaped DLRs.

  • The scooter is 1,925 mm long, 760 mm wide, and 1,290 mm tall
  • Its wheelbase reads 1,320 mm
  • It weighs 143 kg and comes with an 11-litre fuel tank which is enough to move the scooter for about 400 km
  • It comes equipped with a start-stop feature button that minimises emission and optimises fuel consumption
  • Its wheels use a single disc brake, equipped with ABS on both channels
  • Its suspension setup includes a USB fork at the front and an adjustable monoshock at the back

The Xtreme 150i adventure scooter comes with a starting price of RM 9,588, excluding road tax and registration. The company is offering its latest scooter in two hues: Grey and Red.

Furthermore, with every purchase of the Xtreme 150i, buyers will get to enjoy two-year's manufacturer's warranty or 20,000 km travel distance, whichever comes first. MForce Bike Holding Sdn. Bhd. is also offering a genuine online part purchase service.
