KUALA LUMPUR: The stylish motorcycle you see in the images is the second version of the Papio minibike. Called the Papio XO-2, the latest model showcases a retro scrambler styling and is powered by the tried and tested 126 cc mill.

Powertrain

Powering the Papio XO-2 is a 126 cc air-cooled, single-cylinder mill generating a maximum power of 9.4 hp. Paired with the engine is a six-speed gearbox that transmits power to the wheels.

Design elements

Enhancing the motorcycles design bits are elements like -

• High-mounted front fender
• One-piece seat
• Pillion grab rail
• Taller and wider handlebars compared to the XO-1
• Lower and farther forward footpegs (resulting in a more upright riding position)
• More deeply treaded tyres
• More ground clearance thanks to the removed belly pan
• Twin headlights with X design
• Mirrors with an ‘O’ shape hidden inside

Dimensions

As for dimensions, the new Papio XO-2 showcases the same measurements as the XO-1 with both featuring the same length, weight, and wheelbase. However, the new model is longer and taller offering a more upright position.

CFMoto expansion plans

The automaker is expanding its Papio range at a fast pace with the electric version (called the Nova) already available in China. The XO-1 joined the lineup last month, and the XO-3 is likely to follow soon.
