KUALA LUMPUR: Yes, that’s right. Royal Enfield line-up recently welcomed a new motorcycle, the Hunter 350 which will be joining the Classic 350 and Meteor 350 in the segment. The launch event for the said motorcycle took place in Bangkok for an Indian media press launch.

Compared to the Royal Enfield Classic 350 and Metro 350 priced at RM 23,500 and RM 24,500 respectively, the new Hunter 350 comes as a super affordable option by Royal Enfield.

Powering the new Hunter 350 is the brand’s tried and tested 349 cc, single-cylinder, J-series unit making a max power of 20.2 h at 6,100 rpm along with a peak torque of 27 Nm at 4,000 rpm. The power is sent to the wheels via a 5-speed gearbox and chain final drive.
The above configuration allows the new Royal Enfield to attain a top speed of 114 kmph.
Features
Unlike the Classic 350’s ‘scrambler’ style design language, the Hunter 350 showcases a retro look. The base Retro Factory comes with spoked wheels,while the Metro variant gets alloy units. The seat is one single-piece with the rider’s territory marked with a ribbed patch. The switchgear is picked from the existing 350 duo. The bike comes with a twin-pod instrument cluster with the second one being the Tripper Navigation. Also part of the list is round headlamps, rear view mirrors, and tail lamps. Note, all the lighting units get halogen bulbs.
Being tagged as the most compact Royal Enfield, it weights 181 kg and has a 20 mm shorter wheelbase and 5 mm shorter seat height compared to the Classic 350.
