Norton Motorcycles introduces its flagship model, the V4SV superbike

KUALA LUMPUR: Norton Motorcycles was taken over by TVS last year in April and since then no action was seen on the production line. However, things are about to change, as the brand’s new flagship model, V4S4 superbike has become the first bike after the acquisition to roll out.

    He further added, “We have made monumental strides since TVS took over just over two years ago.”

    Key details of the Norton V4SV include -

    Engine: Powering the V4SV superbike is a 1200cc liquid-cooled 72-degree V4 unit that generates a maximum power output of 185 hp at 12,500 rpm along with a peak torque of 125 Nm.

    Equipment: The flagship model showcases a 6-inch TFT display, keyless start, several engine modes, and a lean-angle-sensitive traction control system.

    Colour options: The new Norton is available in two hues, Carbon and Manx Silver. The latter also showcases a silver bodywork with red & carbon pinstripes. It also gets a black front number board and red OZ Racing forged aluminum.

    Chassis: Both the V4SV versions benefit from a TIG-welded aluminum frame along with a Union Jack design on the tail. The carbon version, on the other hand, features exposed carbon fibre bodywork and carbon fibre BST wheels.
