More details on the upcoming Honda Transalp 750 revealed

KUALA LUMPUR: A new Honda motorcycle is coming to you guys! Called the Transalp 750, this new Honda will compete in the middleweight enduro motorcycle category.

In Honda's current lineup the new Transalp 750 will fill the gap between the CB500X and CRF1100L Africa Twin. Thus, completing the brand’s adventure-touring model offering.

Once launched, the all-new Honda Transalp 750 will compete against the likes of BMW F 850 GS and Tuareg 660.

The main reason for the Transalp 750 to be in the news is its newly emerged engine detail. So, here we are, discussing the upcoming Honda power plant details.

According to Motorrad Online, a German publication, the new Transalp 750 will be powered by a new parallel-twin mill. Earlier, it was said that the job will be done by the same mill powering the NC750X. Seems like it is not the case for now.

Honda developed the new parallel-twin engine on the African Twin architecture and is expected to be paired with a standard manual and DCT gearbox. Thus making for Transalp 750 two variant options.

We know no more about the all-new Honda Transalp 750, however, with the news of its breaking cover at the EICMA 2022, we expect more information to pour in soon.
