Modenas Kawasaki Z900 and Ninja ZX25R SE get a colour update for 2024
KUALA LUMPUR: Edaran Modenas Sdn Bhd (EMOS), the wholly-owned subsidiary of Modenas bikes in Malaysia, has introduced fresh colour schemes and new graphics for the Kawasaki Z900 and Ninja ZX25R SE. The new outfits elevate the bikes' styling and appeal to a whole new level.

The Kawasaki Z900 SE is now available in an all-new Metallic Spark Black/Metallic Matte Dark Gray colourway along with gold-coloured inverted forks.
The new Z900 ABS, on the other hand, benefits from a striking Candy Persimmon Red/Ebony combination. The iconic Ebony/Metallic Matte Graphenesteel Gray option continues to be a part of the Z900 colour palette.
The specifications remain unchanged with the same 948-cc liquid-cooled, inline four-cylinder engine generating 125 hp at 9,500 rpm and 98.6 Nm at 7,700 rpm. The power is sent to the rear wheel through a six-speed gearbox mated to chain drive, assist, and slipper clutch and riding modes.
The front suspension is managed by upside-down forks while at the rear, the standard model features a horizontal back-link rear suspension inspired by Kawasaki WorldSBK machinery and Z900 SE has an Öhlins S46 rear shock equipped with a remote preload adjuster.
The 2024 Kawasaki Z900 SE and Z900 ABS are priced at RM 55,900 and RM 44,900, respectively. Included in the price is a two-year unlimited mileage warranty against manufacturing defects.
Modenas Ninja ZX25-R SE
As for the model year 2024, the Ninja ZX25-R SE benefits from a new Metallic Phantom Silver X Ebony (Stormcloud Blue), which replaces the Metallic Matte Graphenesteel Grey / Ebony combo available earlier. The new sleek two-tone colour scheme has subtle slate blue accents highlighting key points on the fairing and the iconic Ninja logo. In contrast, the frame, mirrors, wheels, seat, handlebars, grips, and exhaust cover are all finished in black.
The bike also gets updated visuals, enhancing its overall aesthetic and modernising its appearance.
Priced at RM 33,900, the 2024 Ninja ZX25-R SE is powered by the same tried and tested 250-cc, liquid-cooled, inline-four engine tuned to deliver 46 PS at 15,500 rpm and 22 Nm at 12,500 rpm.
