Malaysia gets a new retro scooter, Benelli Panarea 125

KUALA LUMPUR: MForce Bike Holdings Sdn Bhd, the official distributor of Benelli products in the county has announced the arrival of the all-new Panarea 125.

The neo-retro style scooter takes design cues from the Vespa lineup and so is considered to attract a specific customer base.

Benelli Panarea 125: Key highlights

• The new Panarea 125 combines the classic design with modern features, thus making it the perfect choice for today’s urban youth
• It comes fitted with modern features such as full LED lights, a semi-digital meter, hazard lights, and a kill switch

• Powering the Panarea 125 is a 124cc 4-stroke with electronic fuel injection engine generating a maximum power of 8.44 hp at 7,500 rpm along with a peak torque of 9.2 Nm at 6,000 rpm
  The power is sent to the rear wheels via an automatic transmission with belt final drive
• Smooth ride all-along is assured by a telescopic fork at the front with 90mm travel and a telescopic oil-damped coil spring at the rear

• The retro-scooter will come equipped with an anti-theft magnetic lock system that significantly minimizes the risk of theft, thus giving complete peace of mind to the owner

The all-new Benelli Panarea 125 will retail at a recommended price of RM 6,888; as suggested by MForce.
