    Design and features

The Shotgun features a retro-futuristic design inspired by the SG650 Concept. It can be customized or personalized to match the rider's lifestyle. “Inspired by Custom for Custom,” the automaker offers 31 Genuine Motorcycle Accessories.

The bike has a commanding road presence with chopped fenders, a sporty fuel tank, and sporty graphics. Upfront, it incorporates a 1.55 W LED and light-guard headlamp and 2.5 W LED tail light, ensuring excellent visibility even in low-light environments. It also has retro-inspired premium-looking gloss aluminium switchgears with adjustable gears.

Another standout highlight of the new Royal Enfield model is a stylish and ergonomically optimised bucket seat that effortlessly converts the bike from a single-seater to a dual-seater configuration in seconds. With a seat height of just 795 mm, an easily accessible handlebar, and mid-positioned foot pegs, it offers a comfortable riding posture.

The bike sports a digital-analog cluster that offers a mix of old charm and modern technology. It is equipped with a tripper navigation system that delivers all the information the riders need as they head out.

For added convenience, the bike is equipped with a 2.0 Type A USB port that provides a 5V 2A output, allowing riders to charge their devices on the go easily.

    Dimensions

The Shotgun measures 2170 mm in length, 820 mm in width, and 1105 mm in height.  It has a wheelbase of 1465 mm and a ground clearance of 140 mm. The kerb weight is 240 kg (with 90% fuel and oil), and the maximum gross vehicle weight is 428 kg.

    Engine

It produces 46.3 hp of maximum power at 7250 rpm and a peak torque of 52.3 Nm at 5650 rpm. The engine is paired with a wet, multi-plate clutch and a 6-speed constant mesh transmission with electronic fuel injection. The bike is also kitted with an electric start system.

    Chassis & suspension

Equipped with a steel tubular spine frame, the bike features a Showa Separate Function Big Piston Fork (USD) at the front with 120 mm of travel. At the rear, it has Showa twin shocks with 90mm of travel.

    Brakes & tyres

    The Royal Enfield Shotgun 650 runs on 18-inch front and 17-inch rear wheels wrapped with 100/90 R18 M/C 56H and 150/70 R17 M/C 69H tubeless tyres, respectively.

A single 320 mm disc with a twin-piston floating calliper at the front and a single 300 mm disc with a twin-piston floating calliper at the rear manage the braking duties. A dual-channel anti-lock braking system complements these.
