Malaysia Autoshow 2024: BMW Motorrad unveiled four motorcycles

At the ongoing Malaysia Autoshow 2024, BMW Motorrad announced the soon arrival of a new motorcycle, the CE 02. This new motorcycle will be accompanied by three more BMW bikes, namely, the new BMW F 900 GS, New BMW R 1300 GS and New BMW S 1000 XR.

    All-new BMW CE 02

    Powertrain: The CE 02 offers exhilarating performance, all thanks to its power unit, which delivers a maximum power output of 15 hp along with a peak torque of 55 Nm. This enables the new CE 02 to complete a half-century sprint in just 3 seconds and attain a top speed of 95 kmph.

    Range: The bike is equipped with a 6 kWh lithium-ion battery that offers a range of 100 km.

    Features: The new BMW packs several features that make the ride more joyful. Part of the spec sheet is a 3.5-inch TFT colour display, arrow navigation, real-time vehicle status, and insightful statistics. It also comes with three distinct driving modes ‘Flow,’ Surf’ and ‘Flash,’ a USB socket, keyless ride functionality, reversing aid and a cradle mode. Not to forget there is a smartphone holder as well.

    All-new BMW F 900 GS

    Powertrain: The all-new BMW 900 GS is powered by an 895 cc two-cylinder in-line engine that pumps out a maximum power output of 77 kW (105 hp) at 8.500 rpm and 93 Nm of torque at 6,750 rpm.

    Performance: The F900 GS accelerates to a top speed of over 200 kmph.

    Features: The BMW packs an array of smart features, including a 6.5-inch display with a user-friendly interface that gives users the ability to make calls, listen to music, and navigate with ease. It comes equipped with two standard riding modes, namely “Rain” and “Road. On the safety front, it gets Dynamic Traction Control (DTC), cornering-optimised BMW Motorrad ABS Pro, and dynamic brake light. The New BMW F 900 GS now includes additional offerings as standard, including the Gear Shift Assistant Pro, Keyless Ride, RDC (tyre pressure control), 12-volt, and USB power sockets.

    Powertrain: The heart of the new BMW R 1300 GS is its legendary two-cylinder boxer engine with a displacement of 1300 cc. It boasts an output of 107 kW (145 hp) at 7,750 rpm, coupled with a maximum torque of 149 Nm at 6,500 rpm.

    Performance: The power plant delivers exceptional performance, as the gearbox is positioned beneath the engine alongside a new camshaft drive arrangement.

    Features: The new BMW R 1300 GS features several advanced features, such as advanced lighting, including daytime running lights and Matrix LED headlights, LED auxiliary headlights, electronic Dynamic Suspension Adjustment (DSA), and four riding modes (Rain, Road, eco, and Enduro).     Powertrain: The all-new BMW S 1000 XR is powered by a potent in-line four-cylinder engine, boasting a capacity of 999cc. The said unit makes a maximum output of 125 kW / 170 hp at 11,000 rpm and a maximum torque of 114 Nm at 9,250 rpm.

    Performance: This BMW offers a revitalised top speed exceeding 250 km/h. Additionally, it retains, ensuring exhilarating performance and thrilling rides for motorcycle enthusiasts.

    Features: This new BMW features four riding modes (Rain, Road, Dynamic, and Dynamic Pro), Dynamic Traction Control (DTC) and DTC Wheelie, ABS Pro, Hill Start Control Pro, BMW Motorrad Dynamic ESA Pro, Shift Assist Pro, Keyless Ride, and a USB charging interface system.
