KTM 450 SMR update for model year 2024

KUALA LUMPUR: Looks like it is the season of new launches and updates. It was only recently that Ducati gave the Monster & Monster Plus new hues and updated the SuperSport 950 S, and KTM unveiled several new and updated models at the 2023 EICMA. Now, KTM is out with another revised model, the 2024 KTM 450 SMR.

The acclaimed KTM supermoto retains its exceptional performance but features new, eye-catching graphics for the 2024 version. Therefore, the primary focus is on visual enhancements and the technical bit remains the same.

New paint scheme

The latest version gets a new color scheme which is a combination of four hues including, orange, black, white, and purple. The aim here is to pay homage to the brand’s rich heritage while keeping the innovation and modernity element intact.

Technical updates

The 2024 KTM SMR also benefits from a few technical updates that enhance the bike's performance.

Engine

The 450cc SOHC engine has now been repositioned within the frame thus allowing the bike to achieve better mass centralization along with improved balance and maneuverability. The mill offers a maximum output of 63 hp and offers riders thrilling performance on a variety of terrains,

The rider can even fine-tune the motorcycle's characteristics as per their preferences and riding conditions, thanks to the two engine maps on offer.

Braking and handling

Taking care of motorcycles braking needs Brembo with its high-quality components. Also, the suspension system is such that it enhances the bike’s stability in all conditions.

Ride enhancing bits
