KTM 1290 Super Adventure S updated for the model year 2023

KUALA LUMPUR: KTM has revised its most potent adventure motorcycle, the 1290 Super Adventure S for the upcoming year. In its latest version, the bike benefits from updated visuals and a reworked navigation system.

Let’s get to know the 2023 KTM 1290 Super Adventure S bike in detail -

• For the model year 2023, the KTM bike gets a revised aluminum subframe that allows for seat height adjustment
• The new navigation system installed comes with a ‘Turn-by Turn’ feature
• Enhancing its handling is now KTM’s Quickshifter+ and WP Suspension Pro

• Power is now delivered by a lighter, compact, and best-performing unit in the segment i.e. a Euro 5 1,301 cc V-twin LC8 engine generating a max power of 160 hp and a peak torque of 138 Nm
• Power is delivered to the wheels via a new 6-speed PANKL gearbox with a new, lighter aluminum shifting drum with optimized tracks
• Other mechanical enhancements include - a lightweight ChroMo stainless steel chassis, Bosch 6D sensor, and radar-assist Adaptive Cruise Control

• The bike also gets wide, adjustable, and ready for long hours in the saddle, with aluminum handlebars that offer uncompromising comfort and control
• The wind tunnel-optimized windshield is designed to fend off windblast at high speeds
• New cornering LED headlights integrate the front Radar Sensor and are flanked by DRLs and cornering lights

• All-new scratch-resistant 7-inch TFT display with Bluetooth, audio, and call function
• The bike also gets two new striking hues - black-orange & graded grey-orange scheme
