Kawasaki Ninja 400 and Z400 updated for 2022

KUALA LUMPUR: While Kawasaki has planned to go fully electric by 2035, it continues to update its ICE models one after another. The Japanese bike maker recently gave an important update to its 400cc parallel-twins - Ninja 400 and Z400 in the European market. The new models don in new colours and are powered by Euro-5 compliant engine. Let’s know the changes in detail.

The updated Kawasaki 400 twins are powered by a Euro-5 compliant 399-cc liquid-cooled parallel-twin engine that dishes out 45.3 PS and 37 Nm of torque.
  • New Colours

Without making any changes to the bikes’ appearance, Kawasaki has just added brand new hues to the palette. This stealthier black and grey colour attire is paired with green graphics for amazing contrast.

    Euro-5 compliant engine

The latest versions of the mechanically identical twins are powered by the same Euro-5 compliant 399-cc liquid-cooled parallel-twin engine that dishes out a maximum power of 45.3 PS and a peak torque of 37 Nm. The power figure remains unchanged compared to the predecessor, while torque has been slashed by just 1 unit.
