Japan gets the new Jog 125 compact scooter

KUALA LUMPUR: Yes, Japan now has a new compact scooter from Yamaha, called the Jog 125.

A perfect fit for daily commuting, the latest Yamaha features a new powertrain, a reasonable storage option, and more.

Let us get to know the 2022 Yamaha Jog 125 better -

• The new Jog 125 is powered by a small two-stroke 125 cc single-cylinder Yamaha Blue Core engine generating maximum power of 8.2 hp

• It features a massive 21.3-litre under-seat storage area
• On a full tank, the scooter offers a range of 200 km
• A silent startup is assured thanks to Yamaha’s Smart Motor Generator (SMG) which functions both as a starter motor and a bike’s stator

• The light-weight scooter, 95 kg to be precise, is super easy to manoeuvre around the town
• A hook at the front comes in handy to hang bags and sucH
• Yamaha offers the new Jog 125 in four colour choices - Red, Blue, White, and Black

Currently limited to the Japanese market, the Jog 125 is priced at JPY 225,200 (approx RM 7.1k).
