Honda unveils two special models at BIMS 2024 - Giorno+ Donald Duck and DAX 1978

KUALA LUMPUR: Amidst the array of impressive cars and two-wheelers showcased at the 2024 Bangkok Motor Auto Show, two striking models that captured our attention are the Honda Giorno+ Donald Duck Special Edition and Honda DAX 1978 Special Edition.

Honda Giorno+ Donald Duck Special Edition

The special edition Honda Giorno+ celebrates Donald Duck's 90th anniversary with a unique collaboration, infusing the motorcycle with elements that pay homage to the beloved character, blending nostalgia with modernity.

The scooter features a classy LED headlight with a yellow headlight cover design that adds a touch of charm and uniqueness to its appearance. It also dons a 3D “Donald Duck 90” emblem and the classic character’s signature,

In addition to its visual appeal, this special edition motorcycle offers practicality and convenience for riders. It comes equipped with a USB charging socket, allowing riders to stay connected and powered up while on the go. The front Console Box compartment provides handy storage space for essentials, while the spacious Large U-Box offers ample capacity, capable of accommodating up to 30 litres of cargo.

The Honda Giorno+ Donald Duck Special Edition is priced at THB 67,900 (approximately equal to RM 8,767)

Honda DAX 1978 Special Edition

Honda also showcased the 'Honda DAX 1978 Special Edition,' which pays homage to a popular model from the 90s. Based on the 'DAX to 1978 The Time Traveler' theme, this mini bike combines a classic vibe with modern features.

Key highlights of this special edition include retro graphic patterns on the T-Bone body frame, a Soft Emblem for a premium touch, a DAX Rear Rack Stainless decoration set, and a chrome front fender. It also comes with reflective light mounts for added safety during night rides.

The price tag of the 'Honda DAX 1978 Special Edition' reads THB 94,900 (approximately equal to RM 12,253.
