KUALA LUMPUR: Boon Siew Honda has expanded the colour palette of the RS-X 150 in Malaysia with the addition of a new Mat Ion Blue Metallic shade.

    Honda RS-X

    The 2024 Honda RS-X 150 Mat Ion Blue Metallic will be available at all authorised and selected Honda dealerships nationwide starting February 22, 2024, with a price tag of RM 9,798 (excluding road tax, insurance, and registration). Included in the price is a 2-year or 20,000 km warranty against manufacturing defects.

    The popular Honda cub features a sporty and aggressive look with a muffler design full LED headlight and tall light. It is also equipped with a full digital speedometer and a seat opener for added rider convenience.

    Powering the RS-X is a 150-cc EURO 4 compliant, DOHC engine for high speed and responsive acceleration. The said engine delivers a maximum power of 15.8 hp at 9,000 rpm and a torque of 13.6 Nm at 7,000 rpm. It is mated to a six-speed gearbox and chain final drive system.

    The moped rides on 17-inch wheels wrapped with 90/80 front and 120/70 rear tyres. The suspension setup comprises telescopic forks at the front and a preload-adjustable mono-shock at the rear. Handling the braking duties are hydraulic disc brakes featuring single-piston callipers at both the front and rear and a single-channel anti-lock braking system.
