Honda Malaysia introduces new colours for the RS-X and RS150R

KUALA LUMPUR: This month, Honda has been making waves in the local automotive market with a vibrant series of updates to its models' colour palette. After introducing new vibrant hues for the ADV160, Gold Wing, Rebel 500, CB650R, and CBR650R earlier, the Japanese automaker now unveils fresh and captivating tones for the RS-X and RS150R models.

Honda RS-X

The Honda RS-X gets two new colours - Trico White Edition and Radiate Gray Metallic with a slight difference in their prices. The Trico White Edition retails for RM 9,748 while the Radiate Gray Metallic can be purchased at RM 9,698. 

The RS-X continues to have the same mechanical setup that’s a 150-cc DOHC 6-Speed Euro 4 compliant single-cylinder engine, which is tuned to generate a maximum power of 15.8 hp at 9,000 rpm and a peak torque of 13.6 Nm at 7,000 rpm. 

The bike features the same aggressive and muscular design and comes kitted with a number of advanced bits, such as full LED lighting, a fully digital speedometer, a seat opener, 17-inch cast alloy wheels, and a single-channel anti-lock braking system.

Honda RS150R

The new colour tones available for the Honda RS150R are - Mat Gray & Yellow and Mat Gray & Red. It retails for RM 8,299 (excluding road tax, insurance, and registration).

At the core of the RS150R lies a 149.2-cc, liquid-cooled, four-valve DOHC engine, which is good for making 15.8 hp at 9,000 rpm and 13.6 Nm at 7,000 rpm. The power is sent to the ground via a six-speed gearbox paired with a manual clutch and chain drive system. Other key inclusions are LED headlights, a digital speedometer, and a rear disc brake.

The Honda RS-X and RS150R in new colours are now available at all authorised Honda dealers nationwide. Boon Siew Honda offers a 2-year/20,000km manufacturing warranty on the purchase of these stylish models.
