Honda launches updated CBR1000RR Fireblade SP, CB1100 RS and Super Cub 125 in Malaysia
KUALA LUMPUR: Boon Siew Honda, the authorised partner for Honda Malaysia, has kicked off 2019 in style and full-force by launching the updated versions of their litre class offerings – CBR1000RR Fireblade SP supersport and CB1100RS retro roadster. Along the big motorcycles, it has updated its Super Cub 125 commuter as well.
2019 Honda CBR1000RR Fireblade SP – The flagship supersport from Honda continues to sources its power from the same inline-four engine, which pumps out 189 hp of maximum power at 13,000 rpm and 114 Nm of peak torque output at 11,000 rpm. The add-ons on the 2019 CBR1000RR Fireblade SP over the ongoing CBR1000RR include NIX30 Smart-EC semi-active electronic inverted forks at the front and TTX36 Smart-EC electronic monoshock at the back, both sourced from Ohlins. Also, the CBR1000RR Fireblade SP comes equipped with ABS and Honda Selectable Torque Control System (HSTC) traction control and weighs 195 kg. The updated Honda CBR1000RR Fireblade SP will set you back by RM 114,999.
2019 Honda Super Cub 125 – With new color schemes on offer, the Honda Super Cub 125 retains the same single cylinder, two-valve, air-cooled engine, which produces 9.1 hp of power at 7,500 rpm and 9.98 Nm of torque at 5,000 rpm. The other mechanical bits, including the four-speed gearbox, front disc and rear drum brakes, kerb weight of 108 kg and 3.7-litre fuel tank capacity too hasn’t been altered much. The updated Honda Super Cub 125 can be all yours at just RM 13,999.
2019 Honda CB1100RS – The most beloved naked retro roadster from Honda has also been launched in a fresher version, with a major focus on cosmetic changes only. Priced at RM 75,999, the Honda CB1100 RS carries the same air-cooled inline-four engine, which pumps out 88 hp of power at 7,500 rpm and 91 Nm of torque at 5,500 rpm, and is paired to a 6-speed gearbox. Other mechanical bits of the CB1100 RS include telescopic SBDV front forks and twin remote reservoir shock absorbers at the rear, twin disc brakes at the front and a single disc at the rear and ABS as standard. The motorcycle tips the weighing scales at 252 kg.
