Harley-Davidson to be a fully-electric brand in the future
KUALA LUMPUR: Over the past few years, Harley-Davidson has been working on developing its own electric program with LiveWire; which will accompany the brand on its electrification journey.

In addition to the S2 Del Mar, Harley-Davidson’s sustainability efforts will be supported by the likes of the S3 and S4.When the LiveWire was first introduced, it carried a hefty price tag of $30,000, however, later the same was substantially reduced to $ 21,999 in 2021. The move came in after Harley-Davidson decided to make LiveWire an independent brand with the original LiveWire sold as LiveWire One.

Also, it was only last year that Harley Davidson made LiveWire public which even allowed the company to display the product line for its electric brand. One such model is the S2 Del Mar, a middleweight e-bike developed in partnership with KYMCO.
Apart from the S2, Harley-Davidson’s sustainability efforts will be supported by the S3 and S4.
Harley-Davidson Chairman and CEO, Jochen Zeitz said, “At some point in time, Harley-Davidson will be all-electric. But that’s a long-term transition that needs to happen. It’s not something you do overnight. It’s a natural evolution that needed to happen.”
