Check out this super-stylish, special Yamaha MT-09 version

KUALA LUMPUR: At the recently concluded Osaka Motor Motorcycle Show held in Japan, we got to witness several amazing motorcycles. For instance, the Honda Hawk 11 cafe racer. However, today we’ll be discussing a special entry by Yamaha, the MT-09 Cyber Rally.

The Yamaha Cyber Rally evokes the MT-09 Street Rally style from 2014 and is created using the firm’s Y’S Gear aftermarket parts. In a way, the MT-09 Cyber Rally revives the rather short-lived Street Rally via updated styling and parts.

At the front, the new MT-09 Cyber Rally gets a clear plastic headlight cowl that fully encompasses the divisive headlight. The unit spreads slightly upwards creating a small cowling which in turn protects the new TFT dash.

One of the most unique additions to this version of MT-09 is the winglet-style handguards, the same units can be seen on the official Street Rally. However, from the picture, it is not clear whether they are made up of carbon fibre or plastic with faux carbon weave.

Furthermore, the MT-09 Cyber Rally gets updated radiator covers with grille slits for improved cooling. They cover the radiator fully and smooth out the bike’s front quarter nicely. We also see an aftermarket exhaust system on the motorcycle.

However, it is important to note that it’s not confirmed whether the Cyber Rally has any direct connection with Yamaha, as it was not an official reveal by the brand.

Nevertheless, the MT-09 Cyber Rally succeeded to impress the onlookers with its beastly aura.
