BMW Motorrad Malaysia to launch four new models soon

KUALA LUMPUR: Yes, you heard it right. BMW Motorrad Malaysia line-up will include four new models soon, including C 400 scooters and G 310 models. This will help the German manufacturer to enhance its street bike and urban utility offerings in the country.

This information was passed on by BMW Motorrad Malaysia itself via a teaser video on its social media page. In the past too, the company has launched several models in one go, so we won’t be shocked to see all four models standing side-by-side on the D-day. But when will that be?

Well, Malaysia is still in Phase 1 of the National Recovery Plan, with a lot of movement and other activity restrictions in place. However, it is not related to BMW or any other brand’s plan to introduce new models that mainly focus on affordability.

Time for a little update on the upcoming BMW Motorrad Malaysia models?

The new BMW C 400 scooters, the C 400 X and C 400 GT will source power from a 350 cc single-cylinder mill making a maximum power of 34 hp along with a peak torque of 35 Nm. These specs sheets will feature Automatic Stability Control, an ‘electronic throttle grip’, a new dual-disc brake package, and more.

The latest G 310 models, on the other hand, will be powered by a 313 cc single-cylinder engine producing a max power of 34 hp and a peak torque of 28 Nm. The two will benefit from new and exciting hues, like the ‘40 Years of GS’ and Triple Black tone for the G 310 GS. The G 310 R will get a new Passion style in Kyanite blue metallic tone.
