BMW Motorrad Malaysia launches all-new M 1000 R

KUALA LUMPUR: BMW Motorrad Malaysia launches the all-new 2023 M 1000 R naked sports bike in the local market. Priced at RM 158,500, the new addition joins the ongoing S 1000 R.

Note the price includes a 3-year warranty and 3-year roadside assistance, without insurance.

Hans de Visser, managing director of BMW Group Malaysia said, “The M 1000 R brings a fully-fledged BMW M experience to our portfolio of premium motorcycles in Malaysia."

Powering the M 1000 R is a water-cooled 4-cylinder engine that is based on the BMW S 1000 RR mill. The unit generates a maximum power of 205 hp at 13,750 rpm along with a peak torque of 113 Nm at 11,000 rpm.

The motorcycle comes loaded with several ride-enhancing bits like -

In addition to the above-mentioned features, the new BMW M 1000 R features a 6.5-inch TFT instrument cluster with an extended new red speed range rev counter and M animation upon start-up.
