BMW CE 04 electric motorcycle debuts in Malaysia
KUALA LUMPUR: Good news for luxury motorcycle enthusiasts as BMW Motorrad Malaysia will soon launch a brand new electric motorcycle in the country. Called the CE 04, the e-bike is scheduled for a March 2023 launch and is expected to retail for around RM 60k.

Battery: Part of the setup is an 8.9 kWh lithium-ion battery which helps the motorcycle cover up to 130 km. The owners can charge the battery at the convenience of the home via a regular household socket. The same can be done via a wall box or public charging station
Electric motor: The permanent magnet e-motor is positioned between the battery and the rear wheel
Charging: The battery can be fully charged up in around 4 hours and 20 minutes. Low on time? A quick charge will take just 1 hour and 40 minutes. From 20 to 80 percent charge, the CE 04 will take just 45 minutes
Handling: Like every petrol-powered BMW motorcycle, the CE 04 also comes turned with Automatic Stability Control as standard and its optional package includes Dynamic Traction Control
Suspension: Helping the CE 04 offer a smooth and comfortable ride all along is the telescopic front fork with a 35 mm slider tube and single-sided swingarm with a spring strut
Riding mode: The e-motorcycle features three riding modes - ECO, Rain, and Road. For better acceleration the optional Dynamic mode
Features: The CE04’s specs sheet includes, full LED lights, a tubular steel frame, 15-inch wheels, a 10.25-inch TFT screen with integrated map navigation and connectivity, and ABS
