All-new Yamaha Ego Gear arrives in Malaysia

KUALA LUMPUR: Yamaha's official distributor in Malaysia, Hong Leong Yamaha Motor (HLYM) has launched the all-new Ego Gear scooter in the country.

Priced at RM 5,418.62 (excluding registration, insurance, and road tax), the new Yamaha Ego Gear is built to make the busy life of today's urban youth a bit easier.

What power's the new Yamaha Ego Gear?

Powering the latesMis the new-gen BluCore 125 cc DOHC single-cylinder engine with SMG (Smart Motor Generator) technology. The mill makes a maximum power of 9.38 hp at 8,000 rpm along with a peak torque of 9.6 Nm at 5,500 rpm.

This power unit produces smooth sound, delivers an unparalleled riding experience, and saves fuel too.

The pumped out power is sent to the wheels via an automatic transmission system.
