KUALA LUMPUR: The official distributor of Honda Motorcycles in Malaysia, Boon Siew Honda (BSH) has officially introduced the new upgraded CRF1100L Africa Twin Adventure Sports in the local market.

Priced at RM 117,888, the 2022 Honda CRF1100L Africa Twin Adventure Sports now comes with several improvements including a new gearbox and many personalisation choices.

Let us now get to know the all-new 2022 Honda Africa Twin Adventure Sports & the revisions it benefits -

• 110 mm shorter windscreen with a 5-level adjustment which Honda claims to not only offer wind protection but also improve visibility for the rider
• Bigger fuel tank with a capacity of 28 litre
• Revised body panel that protects the motorcycle from wind and debris

• Heated grips, aluminium rear carrier, and tubeless tyres as standard
• Larger engine sump guard and ACC charger as standard
• Refined & revised Dual Clutch Transmission (DCT) that enables smoother gear change in 1st and 2nd gear. Thus improving handling at a lower rev range

• New & improved Honda Selectable Torque Control (HSTC) system with 7-level of control. This gives the rider a finer choice of rear tyre slide for off-road riding
• Better electronic kit, including 6-axis IMU, 3-level Wheelie Control Cornering ABS, Rear Lift Control, 4 riding modes (Off-road, Gravel, Urban, and Tour)
• The bike now features a new electronic suspension, Showa Electronically Equipped Ride Adjustment with four default modes (Off-road, Soft, Mid, Hard, and Soft)

• New comfort & convenience features are now onboard like dual-LED DRL, three-stage cornering lights, cruise control, slim-section seat, high-set handlebars
• On the connectivity front is a 6.5-inch multi-info display TFT touchscreen with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay support
  Hands-free wireless Bluetooth connectivity is also available and enables the rider to always stay connected

The new CRF1100L Africa Twin is powered by a 1,084cc parallel-twin powertrain generating maximum power of 101 hp at 7,500 rpm along with a peak torque of 104 Nm at 6,250 rpm.
